You may click on an image to view or print it on a stand-alone basis. These images have been altered for quick web viewing. The unadulterated originals and descriptions can be obtained from the appropriate government websites, along with descriptions.
These images have been reduced to have a maximum dimension of 535 pixels width and 421 pixels height, whichever is less. The exact pixel width and height are selected as prime numbers, so the aspect ratio may be very slightly altered. Without regard to the original gamma a correction of 2.4 was applied to some of the darker pictures to lighten them up. The pictures are in joint photographics experts group (JPEG) format, with compression parameters set to 80% quality, 20% smoothing, and optimize entropy encoding. These transformations make the images much more viewable on the web with little immediately apparent loss of detail. However, a huge amount of detail is in fact lost. The unaltered originals can be obtained from the appropriate government websites along with descriptions.
